Sophistication "I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts; the rest are details." -- Albert Einstein Inquiry "...and I cherish more than anything else the Analogies, my most trustworthy masters. They know all the secrets of Nature..." -- Kepler Survival "This is a good example of how professionals work. They do not actually know all the mathematics there is to know but they keep their eyes and ears open to everything they hear, no matter how remote it might seem from their immediate interests. Then, someday, these little bits of information end up being important. They may not remember it exactly but they know where to find the necessary knowledge. This is how all of us try to approach physics in the context of research." -- M.S.Longair, Theoretical Concepts in Physics, Hamiltonian Equations and Poisson Brackets

Simpson's Paradox "Dr. Judea Pearl regards paradoxes as "the magnifying glasses of deep principles." In 1965, he proved this point by contriving an apparent contradiction of Faraday's Law to discover new phenomena in superconductivity. In 1995, he dissolved Simpson's Paradox, a statistical illusion first noted a century earlier, and thus created a new method of processing cause-effect relationships. These ground-breaking achievements span a remarkable scientific career in superconductivity, advanced memory systems, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence and the art and science of causal thinking."

What about personality independant protocols i.e. the generic citizen/employee

"Conform ! Conform to anarchy. Conform to society.
You will conform to something and then we'll have you in a cage."

   - The measurement song of politicians and scientists

What IS the oroboros ?
The perspective geometry of deduction devouring its finite self with infinite induction
until it is a mere point indistinguishable from nothing.
compare to vector models of Simpson's Paradox

Corrective lenses can restore 20/20 vision to the distinguishing nearsighted and
the non-distinguishing farsighted. But you have to first recognize the need to
 wear them.

`Ah, well! It means much the same thing,' said the Duchess,
digging her sharp little chin into Alice's shoulder as she added,
`and the moral of THAT is--"Take care of the sense, and the
sounds will take care of themselves."'

"Take care of the pence, and the pounds will take care of themselves."

"To see the world in a grain of sand,
  heaven in a wild flower,
to hold infinity in the palm of your hand
and eternity in an hour." --William Blake

Leviathan ? compare to prions
The farmers control space. The suits control time. The politicians and magicians control space-time. Once we procede past the ability of the normal human senses to make distinguishments and rely upon machines for further resolution, we become cyborgs, and science inherits in the mind-machine relationship many of the same concerns made by philosophers over the past 2.5 millenia or more regarding the mind-body problem. This "clockwork orange" must understand its relationship to what Eddington apparently called "pointer readings" as much as the less technologically enhanced human is concerned with its relationship to the Vedantic principle of non-distinguishement, or the mathematician to Kosko's fuzzy subsethood, or the theologian to duality,... &c. People don't like to 'solve' dualisms or paradoxes mainly because solving one of them tends to solve a whole slew of them, and that leads to big changes. People don't like big changes. There not enough paper and silicon to write down everything I've imagined. You really had to be me.
